What do yall think of Cloud Peak? Stocks & Optics I could buy a relatively cheap scope (maybe the Niko Stirling?) with some great zoom and theyll fix it up for about 400 bucks. This make any sense? To me it does, but, if Ive learned one thing from this thread, its that I know nothing about scopes.

While those look sweet, Id love to just know if I have any other options. I know they might not quite meet the 32x mark but what about Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5-30x50? I will probably go with the NXS series from Nightforce, but again, would love some options

Well, I will be hunting with a friend, so I dont know what rangefinder he has. He assures me he has one though. However, that is an interesting opinion. What 32x scopes do you reccomend? The only one Ive ever run across is the Nikko Stirling, though I am, admittedly, no expert on scopes.

Or what about the Huskemaw 5-20 LR? It is very highly rated, but is on the edge for magnification The Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP??

What do yall think about the Nikko Stirling 10-50x60 scope? Is it any good? Obviously, it has ridiculous zoom numbers, but how is Nikko Stirling? The reason I ask is that I have a friend looking to sell one.

Thank you for the help. The gun is going to be custom and at least 12 lbs. I may actually go with the 338 rum, but definitely will be using a cartridge like it. So, I think I may go for a break and ear protection if you think thats best.
