if I had to do over again knowing what i know lol, I would get a standard 270 if your going to shoot factory ammo its the best choice IMO certainly easier to find 30/06 too

I use a barrel resonator (doughnut) on my browning 270 wsm - I shoot 1spear grandslams 2 nosler partition 3 hornady SST im not a great shot. but i can get groups say 1.5 inch thats good for me as to powder charges I use what the book tels me but never max powder loads - powder IMR 4350 standard...

243 ONLY shot well - no recoil to worry about pleasant experience

I HAVE IN A 243 SHOT GOOD I USE 3031 IMR 4350 270WSM - thats what got me to do reloading - hard to find ammo (factory) even the imr 4350 isnt easy to find nowadays i bought 2 1# cans of 4350 with the hazard combustible i paid in all $200.00 anyone of imr 4350 any cheaper ? imr 3031 too - good...
