So the dude at Matrix bullets sold the company and kept the die for the 165 grain bullet so I have to choose a new bullet for long range. I would also like this bullet to perform at close range. The Matrix fitted both those requirements. Any suggestions?
I have the vortex and am quite happy with them. I have a guide freind with swaros and he thinks the vortex are clearer. I just use them to find bulls, not examine antlers as I don't care, if it has a horn I will kill it.
The G7 is about the best thing for long range hunting I have ever owned. It's expensive but well worth it. Now if they could just make a pair of bino's with all of the G7 features that would be perfect. Or if they could make it as small as the Leica 1600!
Well if you want to turn a turret and have it return to zero I suggest a nightforce. If you want a scope that you can't tighten past 17 inch pounds on the rings or it will never track right buy the vortex.
