I really only need the follower, spring and the bottom plate. I tried looking online and they are all out of stock. I...

Blueprinting an action- what is it

Not many realize how small .001 is in reality. The average human hair is .004 so that should put it in perspective for you. To achieve the accuracy he is portraying in those videos a remington 700 would cost what a custom gun does from the factory. Typical tolerancing on most machining...

Here is a short video from the other day. We had a bit of a stiff breeze but connected on a few hogs. Here are three kills from 471-260 yds. The 471 is my furthest kill to date. Gettin it on video was a bonus. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj45/bigben8011/final1_zps7d3da016.mp4

I see what your saying now. How was the conditions when you used your chrono. I had two days this summer it gave me low readings but not that low.

How dependable are 223 loads in Hornady's 7th edition?

Where are you getting 500 fps difference? You state one lists at 2800 and the other is 2805. Isnt that just 5 fps different?

How dependable are 223 loads in Hornady's 7th edition?

Different test guns different brass it could be a bunch of different things. I got a chrono this summer and it was probably one of the best things i purchased. Most of those projected fps can be off by 100 or more fps. Shoot it over a chrono and you'll know what your load is shooting
