I think you are fine for typical ranges inside of 300. I wouldn’t advise any long range shot with a .22 cal bullet.

If you don’t draw, there are almost always leftovers to be purchased. (Just not for trophy units).

300 win mag can’t be beat. Just make sure you have at least 3.6” or so in the magazine for longer, heavier bullets.
