SSK uses Shilen barrels. Don't know what kind Fred @ Bullberry uses, but i can tell you the last three that showed up in this neck of the woods look and shoot outstanding. Other cartridges...hmmm...6mm Improved? Light 6mm bulletts and Wyoming Wind do not mix well. 150 yards for 60grainers...

SSK or Bullberry. If your frame has SSK Chrome on it, the choice is obvious. I have shot a lot of TCU cartridges and they will not do the job consistantly beyond 200yds. Not enough velocity. Accuracy will be there, terminal performance will not.

Wolves in Wyoming's "varmit" area have been shot at Green River. It takes half of a day to drive to Yellowstone from there in a car. That seems to be a stretch of "the greater Yellowstone ecosystem" to me.
