I agree with that synopsis. As my home projects are already finished, I'd be willing to trade 5 or 6, 8 ft two by fours for 8 lbs of 4895.

I don't mind paying manufacturers or distributors pricing when primers and powder are available for the reasons you quoted. It's the prices I see people paying on sites like Gunbroker that gets me going.

I did buy a couple of lbs of BL-C(2) the other day at $36/lb and 1000, CCI 200 @$19.50/box. I thought myself lucky until I read the BL-C(2) works better with magnum primers. Oh well.

Last time I went to ND and MT, I took a Remington 700 in 22-250 shooting 55gr Ballistic Tips and a Ruger M77 MkII Target in 243 shooting 70gr Ballistic Tips. It was the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Made a couple of 600+ shots with the 243.
