    Kudo's to LAX Ammunition

I guess LAX settled with UPS and they (LAX) shipped a replacement order out right away. Received it in 5 business days, CA to FL. This time the Brown truck didn't lose it

    My How Times Have Changed

I agree with that synopsis. As my home projects are already finished, I'd be willing to trade 5 or 6, 8 ft two by fours for 8 lbs of 4895.

    Kudo's to LAX Ammunition

I'll let everyone know how this one goes.

    My How Times Have Changed

I don't mind paying manufacturers or distributors pricing when primers and powder are available for the reasons you quoted. It's the prices I see people paying on sites like Gunbroker that gets me going.

    Kudo's to LAX Ammunition

Several weeks ago I ordered some Winchester M80 from LAX Ammunition at a good price and they shipped promptly via UPS. I signed up with UPS for SMS text updates on the shipment. The day of delivery, I got a text indicating the shipment delivered to my front door. The jist is, I was sitting at a...

I'm aware of that, but sticker shock while expected, didn't hit as hard as the availability.

    My How Times Have Changed

Having recently gotten back into reloading for center fire rifle, I thought back to 25 years ago this week. I was loading like a crazy man in preparation for my first Prairie Dog trip to ND and MT. Nosler .22, 55gr Ballistic Tips were $6.95/100. 6mm were $8.95/100. IMR4895 and 4350 was $14.95/lb...

    Powder Primers Bullets

I did buy a couple of lbs of BL-C(2) the other day at $36/lb and 1000, CCI 200 @$19.50/box. I thought myself lucky until I read the BL-C(2) works better with magnum primers. Oh well.

    Powder Primers Bullets

After a 21 year hiatus from reloading, I decided to get back into it for a new rifle. I had never considered reloading for my AR or AK for obvious reasons, but I also picked up the first bolt gun I've owned in 21 years so then there's that. I remembered the hours/days/weeks spent trying...

From the good people at Powder Valley

I didn't do it before, but now I'mma buy a truckload of toilet paper and when the time is right, turn it into 4895, 4064 or BL-C(2).

From the good people at Powder Valley

Assuming that there are a lot of people (not necessarily on this forum) who have stocked up for a SHTF moment, they apparently haven't considered that at such a time how much can you actually carry with you and will you make it back home when you run out?

From the good people at Powder Valley

I just got back into reloading (or rather wanted to) for center fire bolt guns after a 20 year hiatus when I decided to build a .308. As I dusted off my equipment and started looking for powder and primers, I became quickly discouraged, especially after finding everyone is out of stock, every...

    Caliber choice for prairie dogs

Last time I went to ND and MT, I took a Remington 700 in 22-250 shooting 55gr Ballistic Tips and a Ruger M77 MkII Target in 243 shooting 70gr Ballistic Tips. It was the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Made a couple of 600+ shots with the 243.
