I moved from those to Kenetrek mountain extreme, and a pair of Meindels depending on what I'm doing.

Have quite a bit of sitka and Kuiu items never had an issue with either. Very high quality and performance.

The best quality and performance in hunting clothes I have found is Sitka and Kuiu. I have a bit of both.

Buy a lighter stock. I'd suggest made of carbon fiber. Thinning wood out of you current stock you'll get flex and make it very likely you will break the stock down the road as the modifications will make it weak. JMO

I will say a lightweight pack means nothing if you have to pack out something heavy and the pack doesn't handle it well. I had a kuiu 5500 I believe it was. When I loaded it down it kept slipping down and I would have to adjust it over and over. Hip belt would not stay put. I would recommend...

Another for easton axis. Been shooting them for years now.
