swarovski I just sent my 7x42 swar. in because over the last 15 years they dont seem as bright as they used to. I am getting harder to impress also. They said that many small scratches on the lens were the cause and it would cost $160 for new lens. Not bad, but not free? Wonder why?

I have a pair of 7x42 swar. that I like very well. Your 7x50 will work well although they are probably pretty heavy like my 7x42 bino's. Dont try to cut too much weight with a pair of compacts for mule deer, I don't care who makes them. A small objective lens is not comfortable to look through...

270 platinum would be a good choice be careful of the hollow point powerbelts as some feel the open to quick without enough penetration. Also the "209 muzzleloader primer" not the 209 shotgun shell primer may help accuracy as the powerbelts are not very tight in the bore and the primer may push...

I have a pair of the high top bozeman boots in size 13 and they run true to size. They offer decent ankle support but are probably best suited for upland and out west hunts that are not all vertical with heavy loads. I like them but was disappointed the see made in china on the tongue. Dean
