    338 Lapua - Best Brass?

Good poll. My first question is are you hunting or shooting ELR matches? I’ve loaded probability 3000+ rounds of 338LM one of my favorite carteidges for long range hunting and shooting ELR Light Class. It’s also the preferred cartridge when I train students in my Long Range Class each month...

    Question about zeroing a rifle.

Others have said this but I will jump on my soap box here. I think the “200y zero is an imprecise tool and should be done away with in our common vernacular. this will upset old timers for sure but what I’m about to say is where this 200y zero comes from. 1 always always always zero at...

    300NM MRAD

This is a rare rifle. The normal MRAD is a true multi role gun capable of changing barrels/calibers in the field. This MRAD was a spin off design that is the same frame but is not a swappable barrel version. Barrett intends to make a lot more later. The ones they did make are rare, I don’t...

212eldx or 215 Berger hybrid 300PRC on elk?

These days it depends on what you can actually get. Also depends on the velocity/accuracy node you want to be in and lastly what distance do you want to be able to kill said Elk? Not a fan of Berger’s for hunting but if I was going to use one it would be the 245g as long as you have the twist...

    Overpressure Factory Hornady Match Ammo

Assuming zero issues with the chamber, barrel, bolt and firing pin. It is anomaly. It is a manufactured product so things fall out if standard deviation. I wouldn’t think much of it. Reporting it would enable them to do a LOT check by looking back at statistical process control data. If they...

    Barnes match burner bullets?

AB has them listed as G1 .663 and G7 .34 The 140 MB’s shoot very will. I believe they are Sierra bullets actually but I could be wrong. Wouldn’t hurt to call Barnes. They Benefit from being tipped as well, lowers bc slightly but increases consistency 140

    210 Berger out of 300WSM

The 210vld has a stability factor of 1.93 in that twist (1.5 being minimum) so you should be fine

    Anybody reload at the range?

Pretty easy to do in van or trailer or if the range has a room you can use. I’ve seen some cool setups at the range before. C clamps and a solid table in a hotel room too. Biggest thing is getting exact weights from a good scale. Air pressure and wind affect The scale greatly
