Yes...all glass is pretty good these days but some better than others. There is much more than glass quality to consider....

No worries about the face....it will grow back...but if you are concerned you can play it very safe and full length size and use the I.T. dies with their complete instructions...easy...Hunting accuracy easily done with the usual load development...

Yes...that is the one I use and just the Imperial lube! Old age is creepin up on me so I could not remember the name of the die...the concept makes sense and I believe you will get more life out of the brass...check what .300WM brass sells for now....

Yes...not rocket science for the hunter just pretty basic. Have loaded for 50 years myself. I do use the special collet die for belted magnums every other loading or so to squeeze the case near the head...cases may last longer....yes, have fun with it...follow the books/steps..be safe

So many calibers etc and most will work for whatever. The 30-30 worked forever and still does....just depends on your "needs" and what you like....dead is dead within the cartridge range...

06 with todays bullets will do all most will ever need out to 500+ depending on game size. 300 and others will just be better the further out you get on game. The real question is how far do you want to shoot game? The person who knows one gun well....very well, will usually be the most accurate...

had both .257wthby and 06.....kept 06 because I had a boat load of brass....sold wthby.....06 does all I need long range Coyotes, deer, antelope...

It all boils down to whether or not you are OK with wounding and losing an animal. It can make for some bad memories
