    6mm ARC Upper Build

Those velocities are surprisingly low. Compared to the 6.5 grendel , that's velocities seen with 123gr pills . Almost identical powder charges on nearly identical case dimensions. Something isn't adding up , is it .

    6mm ARC Upper Build

My arc upper has a weird handle on it . Had this thing sitting here for nearly a year now and haven't fired a shot out of it. I have 400 rounds of hornady match ammo and a box of 99gr hammers to load . I'm gonna take my daughter for a range day at one of Ga dnr ranges next weekend and break...

    Age this Ga pig

I have multiple pictures of both bucks at different angles. Just based on body characteristics , the buck in the pic above was probably an older deer at 6.5 yrs old . I think the deer that started this thread was in the 4.5 yr old range . I've heard of radio collared bucks in Texas rotating...

    Age this Ga pig

Sure I would. Its not my concern that I'm managing the herd, because , obviously I'm not doing that on 5 acres, lol. I just won't intentionally shoot an immature buck . Its just my personal standard . This deer never gave a shot year before last . A new buck showed that was a hammer for my...

    Age this guy.

Wild guess, good 2 yr old or averagish 3 . Like others have said, teeth tell the tale for the most part. Here in Central ga , we got deer imported from the coast, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Texas years ago. Its a crap shoot to age on looks . I've seen 5 yr olds verified that look like 2 yr...

    Let them walk.

I see your point and I agree , more so on the general state of society than hunting, but I appreciate the merit on that as well. I see the lack of involvement by kids I think have our general views on life and it scares me. My own son believes he has no influence among his peers and chooses to...

.223 Remington semiauto rifles that don't look like ARs

I dont think the manufacturers think the market is there . We already have a super semi 223 in plentiful supply in the AR . The problem isn't lack of a suitable rifle , its a problem of ignorant people giving a fine rifle a bad name . I'm sure the manufacturers know, as well as most of us, if...

.223 Remington semiauto rifles that don't look like ARs

Clip is a term used in circles that think of firearms as something to push people around with , ie gangbangers, thugs, and the mainstream media . Gack, foe five, and 9 are terms used by folks with clips . People use magazines to protect themselves from clip toters:)

.223 Remington semiauto rifles that don't look like ARs

Yep, in the movie, the highway men, they used them to hunt Bonnie and Clyde as well . From my understanding they tried to stay true to the weapons used in the actual events . Good movie , if you haven't seen it , worth a watch. It gives the story from the perspective of the Texas rangers that...

.223 Remington semiauto rifles that don't look like ARs

The original BAR , browning automatic rifle, was a full auto capable 30-06 used in at least one World War . 18lbs of hand held fury . Guy I worked with in the sporting goods industry had one. The modern BAR isn't anything similar to the original ,except by name. Browning wisely just borrowed...
