If you do any of your own bedding, etc. you can easily do this and then repaint. I do stock work - mostly on composites these days and this is really nothing more than 'bondo' work. A young Georgia boy like you can do this.

You know that pistol grip can be reshaped and then the stock repainted. This is my son-in-law's Sendero - the one with the fat dual palm-swell. He saw some of the work that I've been doing with handicapped shooters and aging shooters (like me) who find it an improvement reshaping pistol grips. Anyway, shooters of all ages are finding (like you are) that they prefer a more vertical grip for certain types of shooting.
