That's average price around here, has been for the last few years.

I wish I could find some Reloder 33 in stock so I could try it in my bigger magnums, but my local store doesn't carry it or Reloder 25.

My son was in our local Cabelas Friday the 23rd, saw 18 lbs H1000, 15 lbs H4350, 12 IMR 8208 and various others. Haven't seen that muck powder anywhere in quite a while. Price was $29.95 + tax.

One pound bottles of anything (except Lil Gun or Unique) don't blow my dress up at all. Why bother. 8 pounders are less expensive and large calibers eat propellant.

The place to get propellants, primers, brass, bullets and good advice will be CMP in July at the National Matches.

I'll be there, so will Lapua's best and all the 308 Palma shooters from all over the world.

Admission is free BTW. Every vendor worth their salt will be there with all the goodies.

Me tooo!!! I would love to have anothe can of RL-33. I would trade 2 cans of Retumbo for 1 can of RL-33!

I've got about 2/3 of a lb of Retumbo I don't see myself shooting... I tried it, and my 7mm RemMags didn't like it. They preferred the 7828 SSC.

I have one that really likes RL19 and 160 Accubonds, but all my others prefer the Berger 168 VLD's.

Bruno's shooting had some R-33 for 34.95 a lb.

Yeah, and he can shove up his hind end sideways, if he thinks I'm gonna pay that much + a hazard fee, he's got another thing coming...

That's what I told the local manager the owner of the local store can do when he sells Viht powders for $55.00 / lb at regular (non-panic) price.

I started a thread on the Camp Perry National Matches to answer your questions....

Thats the place to get what you need for the year. It's one stop shopping for everything firearm related plus all the major competition shooters worldwide will be there.

It's on Ohio SR2 just west of Sandusky, Ohio on Lake Erie and about 8 miles from Cedar Point and 20 miles from Toledo, Ohio.

The whole month of July.

That sounds like a little better time then PD!!! I have a son due that month I bet my wife will be more then generous to let this guy take a vacation ...hahaha

You can goggle up CMP and get the exact dates for the various matches that interest you. I'm a hangun fan myself as well as 308 F Class. They will also do long range 1000 yard prone. The 1000 yard targets face the lake at the back of the grounds with elevated shooting platforms.

Best to look for accomodations around Toledo or Fremont, Ohio. Everything will be booked near Camp Perry but they do have camping but military personnel have forst dibs on sites. Camp Perry is a working military installation and of course the military part is off limits to civillians......
