A NF Beast showed up at scheels yesterday. Luckily I was in the store and promptly purchased it. Havent shot through it yet but extensive playing. To me, glass quality is superior to NXS. The clicks are better for sure, very positive. (I like the clicks of the NXS fyi). This scope is very well thought out, so far I have no complaints.

Was there at state wrestling last year. My son is going to be based out of there, just finished MP training in Marines.

that scope is half a pound heavier than an NXS I have no idea what that gains on a hunting rifle. even an NXS is too heavy I do have one on my hunting rifle however its not one I plan on doing alot of hiking around with.

Off topic, but out of interest where did you have the barrel on your rifle done, I like the spiral fluting and contrast in colors.

I agree that it is heavy. It was not designed as a hunting scope. This is my coyote rifle and I probably put on more miles doing that than big game hunting just due to the fact you can hunt then when ever. My big game rifle wears a March 2.5_25x42 @ 18 oz. This scope is every bit as good as the NXS line if not better especially when you consider weight.

So far the scope is awesome. I really like the .5 MOA turret. Tracking is great for the limited testing I did that way. I shot a .303 5 shoot group with it and the 243 it's on. Top end magnification is really really clear. First round hit with it at 726 yards. Couldn't be happier.
