I've posted this over a specialty pistols also but I though I would post here too. I am looking for a XP 100 mid grip in a caliber that will take deer sized game to at least 250-300 yrds . I'm not a big fan of the factory nylon stocked guns. Anyone know of one or anyone have one they would be interested in selling?

Other then classifieds on here ha e you tried gunbroker.com yet? I know tbey have a couple Strikers up for auction. I'm hooked on Strikers myself because you can switch caliber/barrels to so many different ones.

Deer? With a pistol? At 300 yards? I'm open to reading some ballistic data about humane kills under those circumstances. Even if the shooter can hit an 8 inch circle consistently at that distance with a pistol, I'm not convinced that there'd be enough terminal energy to make a clean kill every time.

Dear Sir,

Wrong place, wrong time, wrong subject. Read more before opening that can of worms.

Just a kind thought.

Still looking, I've had a few offers but nothing that really jumps out yet. I have thought about building one on a Savage target action but I am really interested in a mid grip for big game hunting. I will probably build one in a rear grip for paper punching and prairie dogs this summer.

I have a stock 7 BR center-grip XP-100 (Zytel stock) and another one that has been rechambered to 7mm ISHMA (7mmx300 Savage) that I would sell.
Yes, you would need to get an aftermarket stock at some point.

You obviously have no idea what we're talking about, please do some research.
