Looking for any real world experience with the 150 ablr out of a .270 WSM. BC's look good, so does their velocity, in the data anyways. Too good to be true? Also any retention issues? May be a reloading thread but.... Thinking of running them in my model 7. New to the 270 wsm...

This guy has a pretty nice little website. He has posted some stories about loading the AB lr in 270 wsm and taking game with it.

The DIY Hunter - 270 WSM Handloads and Ballistics

In short, it looks like the WSM might push the bullet a bit fast for it to behave as a "bonded" bullet at short-medium ranges. At least in that mans limited experience with it.

My son is going to start working these bullets up pretty soon.
My family does not long range hunt like the forum members, also, we basically have to do everything on the cheap. I would give some part of my body for a nightforce scope to put on my 7mm rem mag Ruger #1. We consider long range 700-800 yards.

I don't even attempt the search button anymore. I've tried searching for my own threads and I get the same result. "No results" I've looked at a page copied the title and put it in the search with the same result... So I'm sorry if it's been discussed, thanks for the link...

The google search in the upper right is a much better engine than the search button on the menu bar.
