this looks like a neat little gun. lots of good features. I really like the price. anybody got one.

I know this sounds dumb, but Im looking at the mossberg or the cz 204 kevlar.

if it can be close to preform like the cz, Ill get the moss and spend the rest on glass.thanks.

Ive been loosing sleep for a week now deciding which gun in 204 to get, and I still don't think I decided 100 percent. but I keep coming back to the mossy.

I like the mag, fluted and floated barrel and stock. If I can improve it with a little more cash it seems like a no brainer for 500.00 verse 800.00.

HELP ME DECIDE im tired and want to sleep. buying a gun shouldn't be so hard.

The CZ is as close to a miracle shooter I've ever had. I've made shots with mine I didn't even believe.

The CZ single set trigger is the finest trigger I have ever touched, and the accuracy and reliability of the rifle is unmatched and I've shot a lot of very nice rifles.

I don't dobt anything about the cz. I read a good review about the mvp. I guess If there was a side by side comparesion it would help greatly.

if the mvp is a dog , case closed, but if it can hang kinda close. ill be happy with what I intend to do with it. Id like to build it up if its worth doing.

I don't chase coyotes yet.don't think there enough in maryland yet. I would like to meet some fox, squrrile, crow though. thanks a bunch for the info.

I have a little mossburg mvp in .223 and it shoots under 1/2 with 55 ballistic tips and varget.
but I did switch out the factory trigger with a jard took about ten minutes and 138.00 dollars and really made this a nice little rifle.

I really like the ability to have ten or twenty rounds when bunny thumping or shooting gophers :D

It is a nice little rifle for the money. As far as cz is concerned I have never seen one that wouldn't shoot really well, but for your intended purposes I think you would be happy with the mvp and heck use the extra money you save for reloading equipment or to put towards glass for the mvp

I think Im going mvp, but can't find it anywhere except buds guns on the internet. then I got to pay shipping, transfer fee,. then it makes it a cz that I can buy local. maybe now im going cz. man this is tough. back to the drawing board.

Cabela's and Sportman's Warehouse carry the MVP. Maybe if you ordered through them you could get without shipping..

I have bought a couple guns from Bud's and been satisfied. Seems that they were cheaper from Bud's even after paying shipping, but then the $45.00 FFL fee kind of put a damper on it, if I remember right.

Have a .223 MVP. It has a short length of pull. Seems to be an inch or so less than standard. As others mentioned it does shoot well with reloads. Has a 1/9 twist for the .223. And as others said, trigger is crisp but a tad heavy. (CZ probably has a much better trigger.) The rifle is mainly for my wife and she loves to shoot it. I do too, just a fun gun. Pretty too.

good idea barrel nut, I'll try'em lightbulb

406 this is the 2nd gun that local dealers loook at me like I have 3 heads when I ask about a gun. the first was the bmag.

Man 406 are you saying the mvp is a chick gun :D

I bought my Wife one, the 20" Predator version, I am very impressed. I boo hooed the idea at first, thinking in terms of cheap shotguns 9but tough) shotguns with that name, I was wrong. I have worked up several sub 1/2" 5 shot groups, loves the 55 Blitz King.

ok this is getting rediculus, cabelas doesn't have it, or basspro. sportsmans warehouse doesn't list guns.

I can buy a .308 cheaper than I can buy a .204

I guess I gotta bite the bullet and get from buds guns a pay the fees.

I got one shot left ( pun intended ) at a gunshop in hancock md.

ok Im the proud owner of a new mossberg mvp 204. stayed up all night trying to locate one.

Buds guns had the best price, but by the time I pay the fees it almost the same as buying from the local shop. I don't mind supporting my local shop, but its painful in the wallet with limited funds.

I wanted to use my savings for glass. guess Ill have to shop the classifieds.
