I was in the mass caos at Cabelas today and saw a Berger manual. I had been plannin on ordering one so I just grabbed it and left. I got home and found not ANY data for any 338 cal stuff in it. SUCKS! I just figured I would let others know.........

I bet if you email them, they will have some that can be shared. There is a wealth of information in the manual, there may have been a deadline, so they went with the most used.

I am guessing it was "finalized" before the 338 bullet was done. I just ASSumed that since it was so new it would of had it. In the end it's my bad, just fyi for you folks!

I just think that it is funny on their website for the 338 LM load data, they have approx. fill capacity at 104% for 85.2 gr. of H1000. I am about 111% if that is the case haha. 85.2 gr wont even come up to the shoulder.

+1, from what I have seen their load data for the 338LM seems to be well below what others publish for 300gr bullets. I understand different type bullets at the same weight have different max loads, but Berger is definitely the outlier on the low side.

That Berger load has 7/8" of that 300 gr bullet in the case.
