I have a new, unused, in original plastic tube Nightforce 15 MOA canted rail for 8x40 screws. Everything is there including screws and wrench just as I purchased it.

Yes it fits a 700 rem with a long action like a 300 RUM. But you will need to have 8x40 screw holes in the receiver. They can be enlarged to 8x40 unless your rifle already has had that done. The 8x40 are much preferred especially with large magnums like your RUM.

This is indeed a 15 MOA rail. Part number A204. It will work with almost any scope and retain a 100 yard zero. Should be a good match for the 300.
