Used the Xmas excuse on the wife to order one of these. Anyone have one and if so, how do you like it? I'm pretty stoked about it. I will do a little review on it if no one has used it before.

Im curious to hear about them also. if the 2 speakers make a difference or not. for $600 bucks it better be amazing.

I got a chance to use one the other day when I went out with my buddy. Overall I liked it. I like that you can point the speakers in any direction you want. I have the CS-24 and I think the Shockwave might be a little clearer, but the CS-24 is way louder. I like the carry handle as compared to the cheesy one on the CS-24. The new remote is great and I like a lot of the new features. I am pretty sure the temp was never correct as it said over 70 a few times and I can assure you it never got over 45. If I had to choose one of the two though I would get the new CS-24C I think it is with the new remote. Either way they will both bring in coyotes.

As you can see it works called in 2 doubles and a triple with it this day.

I have owned a firestorm, a prairie blaster and now the shockwave. I do like the positional speakers on the shockwave. All in all a good call with great sound. The foxbang initiation could use some work, a bit sensitive even on the highest setting in my experience.

I agree. My buddy has set it off many times when he goes to set down for a stand and it bumps against his binos.

^^^ having it slide off your lap will also set it off, I think an accoustic trigger would work, a decible level that a sonic crack engages the foxbang would be handy when shooting suppressed. Removing the tendancy to go off when bumped would be brilliant.

I've been demoing the Shockwave this fall. Although I like the directional speakers, the remote is the best feature IMO. The buttons can be operated without looking after some practice. It is also "menu" organized which is nice in this day and age with lots of presets available. The other thing I have found is that the battery life is phenomenal on the caller. My remote on the other hand eats batteries for some reason??? Other than that, it's a sweet caller. You're going to like it.

Agreed the remote is alot better than the prairie blaster and the fury remote. I can remember it getting below freezing and the remote would skip over sounds on the list or not move at all. As far as the batteries on the new remote go, you are right they seem to be spent rather quickly.

I really like my Shockwave Caller....lots of sounds to choose from with plenty of room to add lots more and it's easy to use!As mentioned the remote seems to run down the batteries awful fast but I learned to keep an extra set along with me when going out.

I was thinking about buying one of the Camo Carrying Bags for it....ended up buying a Black Range Bag for it at a lot cheaper price plus it has lots of room and compartments for my remote, shells, mouth calls, extra batteries and other items needed while Coyote/Predator Hunting!

I ran the shockwave in minus 15 degree weather over the last two days in montana. Bring batteries for the remote, the caller worked all day the remote didnt last but five hours. Still impressed with the system overall in the extreme temperatures, remote worked extremely well sans the energy consumption, a huge improvement over the prairie blaste and fury remote. The foxbang feature appeared to get more sensitive in the colder weather, had to turn it off after setting it off a few times on accident.
