270 WSM Rifle Advice

I am looking at getting a lightweight rifle in 270 WSM. Any recommendations on a good factory rifle for quality and accuracy? Thanks

I bought a Browning Abolt 270 wsm when they first came out. Not having Brass or dies at the time I bought two boxes of factory ammo. I brought the rifle home mounted a Cabelas guide series 4x14. It was shooting .5moa @ 100. I've since switched to the 5-15 vortex "midway" viper for less weight and size gave better balance on rifle. I can carry it all day up and down mountains of Pa or out west.
My oldest son being a lefty I bought him a south paw Savage s/s long action 270wsm. It's light and shoots lights out as all Savages do. But with the S/S Savage, barrel contour, long action it weighs more and with his 4x14 Cabelas Guide series scope weighs more than my 270wsm. Both are very still reasonable in weight though.
Of the two factory rifles If you don't plan on changing stocks, triggers or barrels I'd go Browning. If ya think you might want to change barrel, stock or caliber in future go with the Savage. Or if your lefty.
The Tikka is also a well made factory rifle as mentioned.

I have one and it shoots great. I don't think you can go wrong with a Tikka.

I own a .270WSM in the Kimber Classic with a Zeiss 3x9 Conquest. Very easy carry. Shoots solid .5 moa groups. Very thin 24" barrel though. That's why it's so light. Five shots max before groups start to change. Barrel needs to be cooled down. Chamber length to magazine is good. All loads are @ .015 off lands with plenty of room in the magazine . They claim match action and barrel? I wonder about that but the way it shoots it's probably true. Good adjustable trigger. Mine is at 2.5 lb and very crisp. RL 19 and imr7828 is it's favorite with 140 VLD's and Accu Bonds. @ 400 yards has been my longest kill shot on a muley buck last year. I use it as a saddle rifle. Most of my hunting is horse back so this kind of rifle is really nice to pull from the scabbard.

I like the Tikka T3 Lite in 270WSM as well. Excellent value and great accuracy from a light rifle!
