Keeping Reloads Looking GOOD!

Ok...I have to ask....
When I reload it usually load about 100 rounds... Just because I get in a groove, I want to keep variables down and keep my consistency up..
ANYWAY... SO... I have had a bunch of rounds loaded in the garage and I dug the out the other day for a shooting session and they were kind of tarnished and not as pretty as when they come out of the tumbler...

Does anyone have any ideas on ways to keep them looking good..

Yeah Yeah I know kind of shallow... BUT..

I keep mine in a sealed ammo can with a little pack of silica gel. Helps some but they still get darker over time.

If you really want 'em to shine take some super-fine steel wool to them before you use them. Of course, right after you use them they are dirty again...

vaccuum sealed wrap each round. That's how I received test ammo when I bought a rifle from Accuflite. Stayed pretty for years.

IMO, it would have to be really tarnished. I have shot piles of "not-shiny" 5.56 through various semi-autos and have never had a FTF (minus a few from questionable mags).

How tarnished are you talking about? Have a before and after picture?

Unless your soldiers have the hygiene of tattered, homeless, aboriginal dope fiends you can't use feeding as an excuse for your OCD - it is pure vanity. Trust me, I'm not judging - I've got the same issues........
