I am looking to move this rifle. It sits in my safe and never gets used as I have nowhere to push it to its potential.

Rifle:
- Savage 110BA .338 Lapua Magnum-->125 rounds fired.

Scope:
- Leupold Vari-X III 8.5-25x50
- Burris XTR Tactical Rings (Low)

Reloading Components:
- Redding Competition dies (Seater, neck, and body dies) with .365 bushing. (Only Seater was used)
- 400ct Lapua 300gr Scenars
- 62 loaded rounds of 90gr H1000, 300 Scenar, Federal Match LR Magnum, and virgin Lapua headstamp brass
- Somewhere around 38 1x Lapua headstamp brass
- 13 pieces of 1x PPU brass
- 13 loaded rounds of PPU 250gr that could be used for components. (These were fail to fires, due to less the decent quality control from PPU, but the brass is virgin and decent stuff.)
- Wilson Trimmer Case Holder (Never used)
- 338 bullet comperator (Used once to set up dies)
- 338 Lapua Bump Gauge (Never used)
- Hornady OAL Modified Case (Used once)

At the moment, I would like to keep everything as a package..but if you're interested in something in particular, let me know, and maybe we can make it work.

Price: $3,350 + shipping
Trades: I WANT to trade! I don't know what I want or need, but I wouldn't mind something new. Offer up what you have and maybe we can work something out. Worst I can do is say no..

I also have more pictures of all items. If you're interested, PM you number/email and I can text/send them.

BIPOD NOT INCLUDED

Re: WTT/WTS: Savage 110BA .338 Lapua, NOW PARTING OUT

I'm in your boat but not selling it. Like you in Pittsburgh, I have no place to stretch out my 338 except out west on hunts but then, it's a nice rifle and I may hardly ever fire it but when I do, it's a kick *** gun. Like my ML's. I don't use them much but nice to have for that wayward deer.

Besides, my wife likes it, she says it looks 'Industrial'. I agree.

It's the only rifle that when I take it to the club and fire it, it clears out the clubhouse....:) Half loaded members come running out wondering what the hell exploded......

I too had issues with PPU but I did some serious bitching (had 6 no fires in 2 boxes) and got my money back (and kept the rounds which I pulled) and reloaded with real Federal Primers, some H1000 and 250 SMK's.

PPU brass, no issues. PPU components, big issue.

I would be interested in the die sets if you'll part with them seperately.

surprised Ted doesnt let you go out to his place to shoot it

One, it's not Ted, it's Rick (brother) and two, it's heavily wooded as is our property that abuts Rick's. Ted is in Texas, Rick is in West Central Michigan.

If you want to jab, jab with the proper tools.......:)

Rick has a custom built 338 but like me, it's a gun cabinet queen for the most part. Go to rifles here are mostly 308 or 6.5 Creedmore, ML's or magnum hand guns....

It's all close in shooting, 150 on the far side 10-20 on the near side.
