Alaska Guide Creations bino pack or FHF bino harness. Both work great. I can get a leica 1600b rangefinder and a small set of Zeiss binos in the AGC bino pack.

I'm using the S4 Gear lockdown harness. I prefer it over the elastic harnesses I have because it keeps my binos tight against my chest when I am moving

+1 here. This thing is the cats meow. Very comfortable to wear and light weight. Keeps your optics clean and dry and is silent in it's operation. Has a nice net that comes out of the back that is perfect to throw a few water bottles in. I keep a knife and small saw in mine as well. Last year in the thrill of the moment I chased down a big bull Elk and forgot to throw on my big pack. My little knife in my Badlands case saved the day.

+1! A couple of years ago, my brother and I had been watching a really nice bull elk for a hour or so and we watched him go down into a canyon and he never came out. So the stalk was on and we decided to go "light" so we left our packs at the top of the headwall. Well, the stalk kept getting farther and farther and I ended up jumping him out of his bed at 142 yards. After he was down, I look at my bro and ask, "You got a knife?" He says, "No, its in my pack." Our packs were about 3/4 mile away and about a 800 foot climb. I just happened to have a leatherman with me and that is what I used to dress and quarter the elk. So.................I always now use a bino PACK, not a harness and in that pack, I carry a lighter, my license/tags and a havalon knife with extra blades. I never take that off.
Amazing what experience teaches one self.

I've tried about 6-8 different chest rigs over the past 5 seasons, starting with a harness and now with the AGC Bino Pack.
There is NO WAY I would trade it for anything else on the market. No chance.
The protection it offers, capacity it has available and comfort the new straps provide is nearly impossible to beat.
As others have said, it's not just about keeping your binos close by...it's about keeping ANYTHING important close by.
Mine easily holds, 10x42 Fusion 1600s, Kestrel 4000, my cell phone, Lens pen, folding knife, skinning knife, 6 predator calls, tags, ID, windicator powder and a Sagen Saw...with the front pouch still empty for more.
My partner is working on an HD video review soon...but we're not going to post it here, as it's probably going to look too much like an advertisement.

Same deal...sure. The OP asked about what to hold BINO'S...and before very many posts guys are pointing the fingers at "Alice Packs" to carry everything there is?? I dont want all the weight of the world hung off my shoulders...I carry it on my hips

I've had a few of different manufacturers, Swarov, Cabelas and such. They usually last about 4-5 seasons and get stretched out.
They are my personal preference and keep the binos handy. I'm in the SW so weather is rarely of concern.
I want light weight and accessibility. I am a spot and stalk hunter, except when I am sitting and glassing and then I use 15's or 20's on a tripod.
I run matching fanny packs that are adaptable to many configurations. Both have small d rings on front down from shoulders , I bought same qd buckles as my swaro set and just clip them on, the have the above eyepice protector that slides down. If Im spotting in a rig I just use the harness that is like mentioned above.
