Hi There

Just I got my Zeiss Conquest HD5 5-25x50.
But when tried to set it up, noticed on Windage and elevation turrets says U/R on both!!
When you turn either one it is not moving like normal up and down or left to right!! it moves diagonally from left-down to up right on both of turrets.

Do you have any idea why it is like this or this is the way Zeiss works?!!

Thanks for any help and inputs.

Zeiss uses the same turret cap for both the windage and elevation adjustment. It saves them the added cost of having to build two turrets and streamlines the build process. A penny saved is a penny earned. U means up r means right.

It's not impossible but I highly doubt the erector is moving on a diagonal. I would contact Zeiss customer service.

I highly doubt it's moving both directions based on the several I own.

As noted above, the turret moves left/right OR up/down. Zeiss assumes you can determine which turret does which. :D
