With all I have read and this sight and others I have come down to two binoculars to choose from and need your help and opinions

Vortex Razor 10x43 HD's or the 10x50 HD's

The Cabelas Euro 10x42 HD's

At first I was set on the Swarovski's EL's but cant not see spending $1500 more ...................Crap for that price difference I could but a brand new Cooper Rifle.............

So what would it be if it was you

Probably Vortex, but maybe not. I'd have to first article both and then decide.

One thing I'd add right away are the retractable rubber eye cups that wrap around the side of your eye. Makle a big differennce in excluding stray light and make glassing much easier.

Well, there could be a market for a 4 x 15. Good field of view at 100. I'll call vortex and let'em know there is some interest.

I'll put my 10 x 40 Zeiss against them any day of the week

Cabelas Euro HD - or the Meopta equivalent.

I bought the Meoptas last year, and in side-by-side field testing it beats the Zeiss and gets close to the Swaro. Excellent glass.

Zeiss 10x42 HD's Its the warrenty I like with the Razor's

Hey Jeff I found a used Cooper in the .300 Win. Mag. Ackley Improved

I feel better in knowing tha I can run a 215gr Berger @ 3200FPS, just makes me feel better.

Honey Jack, I drank to much of that one night and now.............Cant get near the stuff had to go back to Wild Turkey. And Wild Trukey always taste better in a tin cup outside of my wall tent, around a camp fire on a cold clear Nevada night.

Last year Meopta Meostar HD's won Bino's of the Year by Outdoor Life. Take it for what it is worth but they beat out all the high end at about half the price.
