What brand and model priming tools do you use? Why that particular model?

I have an RCBS hand held priming tool, I don't care for it at all. I've been able to achieve better seating consistency with the bench mounted tool. More leverage while still being able to "feel" the primer seat & determine pocket tightness.

Primer tubes are less of a PITA to load & WAY easier to swap calibers/primer size.

I use the RCBS APS hand priming tool and I love that thing. I believe that it is easier to "feel" when the primer is in far enough with this tool.

I've heard a lot of guys say the same thing. I guess I'm the odd ball out, it must be a south paw thing .

I use the old style Lee auto prime. Got my unit in 96 and still use it. Basic, consistant easy never a problem.

I set my primers to particular crush value, which is impossible by 'feel'.

been using them for over 30 years and never had an issue other then just plain wearing them out.

Until you get carpel tunnel or other "wrist / hand" malfunctions! Then your lucky to get a box of 38 Specials primed

I have been using the Sinclair priming tool for about a year now. It is slow as each primer must be set into it by hand and I am always washing my hands before I use it. But I really like it, I can feel the primer slide into the pocket, not the old slam bam on the big reloading press. I would certainly buy it again. Sinclair has some nice tools.
