Does anyone know of a very factual, authoritative book or article(s) on bullet runout? Best tools to measure it, how much is too much, what effect, what can we do to fix it, if anything? P.S.--I've learned so much reading what you guys have to say about things. Thanks very much.--Bill

Cant provide any books but from everything Ive read .003 or less runout is the area you want to have your reloads in. For my uses (mostly paper and longrange vermin, .002 or less is where I prefer to keep my loads. I've used the 21st century concentricuty guage for a while now to keep an eye on my reloads but now that recently switched over to wilson seater dies its basically a paperweight on my bench. The wilson's all but eliminate the measurable runout..
