I am looking for a long range bolt rig chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. Not interested in low end rifles nor high end boutique rifles. A good quality, heavy barrel rifle that will not disappoint in accuracy. Please let me know what you have.

a shop near me has a remington 300wm 5R with a Bell and Carlson stock, and a threaded barrel with muzzle break. I know as it was my gun, it's NIB and never shot. I think they're selling it for around $1400-$1500, send me a pm if you want to know where, good luck.

Here's a post that I'm going to post on another site whenever I get permission to post in the classifieds. Email me if you're interested in pics.
If you are looking for a very accurate Elk rifle take a look at this. It's a tack driver that packs a wallop. I have taken more Elk with this rifle than any other I own and I put it together specifically for hunting Elk. Thanks to cancer I just can't chase them Elk like I used to and since I have two other Elk rifles I'm looking to trade my best Elk rifle for other toys or more importantly hunting access.
For Sale or Trade: Remington 700 BDL in .300 Winchester Mag.
Based on the barrel stamp I believe the date of manufacturing is November 1992. I bought it used from GunBroker and have fired somewhere between 200 - 300 rounds, no idea how many rounds before I got it, but it shoots very well.
The rifle was given the accuracy package by Jim Gruning of Gruning Precision. The bolt, receiver and barrel were trued to each other (blue-printed, the open sights are removed because they no longer line up on the top of the barrel), the barrel was re-crowned, trigger cleaned and adjusted and the stock was glass bedded. This is top quality work; Jim is highly regarded in his field by both Military and Law Enforcement agencies.
The rifle includes Leupold bases and Leupold medium height dual dovetail rings. The rings and bases have a matte finish.

The bolt was changed to function like the older models where as the bolt cannot be opened when the safety is on (I changed that after the bolt came open during an elk hunt and ice jammed up the chamber). This work performed by Gruning Precision.
This package includes 2 full boxes of custom reloads and 41 rounds of Winchester brass which is already resized, trimmed, tumbled and with new primers. This brass has been fired 2 to 3 times. Also includes a set of Redding dies.
The load I have worked up for this setup is 180 gr Nosler Accubonds, using 75.5 gr RL-22, and it leaves the barrel at 3000 fps. It also handles H4831sc pretty well.

If you are not familiar with Jim Gruning's work you can check out his web site at Gruning Precision: tactical rifles, Remington 700, M1A, M14, AR15, AR10, scope rings, scope bases, tactical accessories, Riverside, California. I also believe that unless you know him he no longer does gunsmith work for the general public so here's a chance to get your hands on some of his work; he is the best I know of. His work is highly regarded and he delivers high quality precision firearms for many police agencies throughout the country and for our military.
All of my rifles he has worked on are tack drivers and this one is exceptional. I consistently shoot ½" groups at 100 yards, 1 ½" groups at 200 yards on a rest and using custom tailored ammunition. The last two Elk I have taken with this rifle were at 297 yards and 350 yards, they dropped in their tracks.
Feel free to ask any questions, I will respond as quickly as I can.
There is some scratching on the bottom of the rear grip and the trigger guard (see pic below)

Would prefer to swap this rifle for permission for the upcoming Whitetail season somewhere in South West or North West Oklahoma for myself, my wife (it's her first hunt) and my son. Would hook up in person for you to see the rifle and me to check out the property.
Would consider trade (with cash back or forth to cover equal value):
The right bow, been looking at Hoyt AlphaMax 32 but would consider others
Would consider a 20-60x80 Alpen or Celestron Regal Spotting Scope
Would also consider a rifled SX2 12 gauge 20 – 24" slug barrel
Or maybe a rifled 20 gauge in either a single barrel breakdown (H&R Style), 11-87 or TC Encore
Outright sale I'm asking $850 plus shipping, would consider throwing in a 4.5-14x40 Nikon Buckmaster with side focus and BDC reticle for an additional $225 (although I really like it on my 7RM)
