Shooting Chrony

Im looking at a shooting chrony but they make a couple of models the alpha beta and master just wonder which ones you guys like or if it doesnt really mater

^^ I can't second that comment enough. I also have the shooting chrony, it is just a knick knack now, collecting dust on a shelf. My MagnetoSpeed goes everywhere with me. **** fine unit.

I was looking at getting a magnetospeed, do you guys know if they will withstand the blast from a 408 cheytac based cartridge? I cannot find anything helpful on their website. I have shot smaller chamberings over a friend's and it does well.

I would think that it would handle it just fine.. Get there contact info off of there website and give them a call. They would gladly answer your questions.. I would think you have a break on that thing, so most of the gas's would be discharged out the side of the break and not into the unit..
