Im shooting a 300 weatherby with 180gr nosler accubond and i just cant get the tightest groups with it i do reload my own bullets just wondering what other bullets might fly better out of my gun

With that rifle I would try a heavier bullet. My choices to try first would be the Nosler Accubond 200gr or the Berger 210gr. There are others but these two from experience perform well on game. You should be able to get either to run well with the Nosler probably being the easiest depending on your experience.

It's a weatherby sub Moa with a zeiss conquest hd5 5x25 2inch above bore sighted in at 200 yards

Sounds like a capable rifle and scope. everything tight? 300 wthrby would be a lot of kick for me in a sporter without a break. in my brothers and 2 other senderos in 300 rum the 180 accubond had great accuracy. i load 030 off the lands for hunting rifles.and 010 off in my competition 6.5-284. if you are using a 215 primer, try a wlrm or cci 250. for another bullet- 308 cal there are a bunch. the 180 accubond is a good all around bullet . could try a berger or matchking ( i do not use MK for hunting) . depending on if i was shooting deer or elk or what - i would mess powder and primer seating depth before messing with bullets.

Another guy told me to go up slowly in powder and see if you get tighter groups and if they get bigger try going the other way and do primers make that big of difference I do use 215 and then imr 7828

a ladder test is a good idea. the 215 primer was made for weatherby cartridges. pm sent.

What is a ladder test?
keeping all the other things the same; start low and go up in powder, .5 grain increments usually ; load maybe 8-11 rounds stopping at max in manual. two or more bullets in the same hole indicate a sweet spot. drop down 4 to 5 grains from max and load one round in .5 grain increments.

ok when i find the tightest group with the best grains should i then play with my distance from the rifling

Everyone has an opinion, Ron gives good advice. My thoughts are a 200+ grn bullet with H1000 and a 215M primer. If you want to stick with the 180s I would use a stiff charge of Imr4350 or H4831 with a 210M or WLRP. Any of the tangent ogive pills should shoot decent at mag or saami length, the secant ogive pills can be finicky with a lot of freebore.
