Saw the confirmation that UPS delivered my custom 338 Lapua magnum to my local FFL holder (very small gun shop). I was all excited while I was driving over there to pick it up. I get there and a little note says closed today, open Tuesday at 9 am. LOL..talk about someone punching you in the gut! Oh well.. I will go pick it up tomorrow and post some pics. The anticipation is driving me crazy considering I should have my hands all over that gun already!

Hart 26" rem varmint contour 1:10 twist ( using 300 gr OTM)
CSR 4 port muscle brake
Badger 50 max rings
Nightforce 5.5-22x50 HS/ZS

Will be using it for both steel and animals.

I will post pics tomorrow but its nothing fancy to look at. Stainless barrel and plain Jane black stock. I just love all the parts I used.

Haha..we must share the same luck.

With my luck, I will take it out to shoot it on the first day and when I pull the trigger, the bullet will get stuck in the rifling and the barrel will fall off.

I do t know for sure but my guess would be 13-15 lbs. in other words...not light haha.

Forgot to add that it is a single shot. I have had to single load my rifles because the round would not fit in the mag. Now I just set 3 rounds to the side of me when I'm shooting and single load them. So I just made this one a single shot with no bottom metal.

That's my preferred weight range for a long range rifle. Should be a shooter!
