How many of you watched a ten year old kid let his dad dial in a 1326 yard shot on a bull elk a few days ago? On the TV show Long Range Pursuit!

The kid made two shots and hit the elk both times and dropped him with the second! Nightforce Scopes! WOW!

....I dont even know that young guy and I'm proud as hell of him!!

If I had his address I'd send him Christmas and Birthday presents LOL!

Unbelievable! Can you imagine what he will be like when he's 30? Holy Smokes!

Those kids of aarons are **** good shots. Ive hunted with all of them quit a bit. Im sure it helps that their dad is the owner of gunwerks and they have a top notch rifle range out to 2000+yds in their back yard. Gunwerks is **** good people and know their stuff

Yea their dad owns Gunwerks! He's doing a great thing for his kids.

I have more fun at a shooting range by handing my 22.250 to some youngun and 50 rounds and telling him to have fun at 100 to 300 yards! With parents permission of course!

Usually their parent or grandparent is there with em shooting their target or deer rifle... But with a little coaching they outshoot their dad in some instances !LOL Talk about a BIG grin on a kid!

I miss shooting with my kids....they are grown up...finished with college and moving into cities and making bucks instead of shooting them!

I chatted briefly with Aaron on fb because I wanted to know what his set up was as well. The rifle was a 7RM but could not get him to elaborate on what bullet he used out of that little 7 to do the job on elk at 1,360 yards even with the assistance of the high altitude. I thought maybe it was a 162 Amax but he said no. Sounds like they are testing some new prototype Hornady long range bullets. He said the bullets are awesome. No more details than that.

Maybe they are testing them but I know that they are using the berger. They are not sponsored but they are still putting them in guns that are shipped if that helps at all. Unless a guy that bought a gun in november was lied to on load discription.

no they are not. They are using hornaday bullets now. And are testing a new long range bullet called the lrmax.

you are correct ,,but if you call there they wont say that until testing is done. I was there around the holidays and thats what
i was told.
