SOCIALIST CONTROLLED TERRITORY OF NEW YORK
Those are some ****ed off firearm owners, I'd say. You all (in New York State) need to rethink your choices in elected officials next election and at present, I'd say it's high time for a recall campaiign recalling Cumo and his Lieutenant Governor.

Cumo IMO is a blithering idiot. He needs to be kicked to the curb....

Didn't the first person get arrested? A former soldier or something?
Kinda. He was trying to sell some 30rd magazines and was to meet the buyer in a parking lot of a closed business. The police pulled in and asked what he was doing there and he told them.

Can't the gun owners unite and get a referendum on the ballot and an injunction? Or do the liberals of NYC outnumber the rest of the state?

Cumo needs to be arrested and charged with 'Indecent exposure of a retarded brain to his constitutients', a crime punishable by waterboarding but instead of using water, using ethylene glycol.

Note... Ingesting Ethylene Glycol causes immediate liver failure and a painful death.....

At least here in Michigan, Snyder is keeping his yap shut but he is a Republican in name only.

His campaign plank was 'One smart Nerd'. I changed the Nerd to Turd.

I agree and so do most up state folks, but NYC is to powerful

I am a little more back door connected than most, due to military affiliations. I have been attending meeting and I know this is the NRAs number one focus right now. That is due in fact to what happens in NY has huge ramification's for the rest of the country. Suit has been filed, if you want to read about it you can go the scopeny.com. The NRA is very careful with these suits they need the perfect plaintiff.

Through a buddy I learned that the NYS police where consulted in Albany, a "special" task for was convened of troopers from NYC that are involved in an illegal gun program there. From my direct first hand accounts the troopers did not want to participate (senior leaders excluded)! They said Cummo was hysterical, and he wanted confiscation of everything at once! I guess a senior trooper pulled him aside and said look you cant do that, obviously that is still his goal and we are doing everything short of raising arms at this point to stop him.

I would ask all of you to keep up the emails, calls, and bombardment of his social media site. As well as any other NYS official.

That reminds me of Detroit. The idiots in Detroit would reelect Kwame Kilpatrick for mayor if he ran again despite being a felon and bilking the city for millions, having whores service him at city hall, shaking down citizens, you name it but he could be mayor in an instant because the citizens of Detroit are all sheeple.

NYC might be a powerhouse but a good Tsunami would wash all the garbage into the East River and it would be no more, besides, the NYCity police department isn't too happy with Cumo right now.

Been to the city many times. My wife is from Cherry Hill NJ and when we visit family we take the train into the city. It's a different world across the GW. I would never live there. Too much humanity condensed in a small space.

It's said....'You can't fight City Hall'. I disagree. With solidarity, you can oppose and defeat any 'city hall'.

The NY political scene has always been NYC and a few other cities vs the rest of the State. Almost anywhere outside of commuting distance of these cities, the mindset is the polar opposite of the stereotypical NY'er.

The 'problem' politicians won't set foot in some areas of the state. At least not without prior announcement. For example, Sen. Chucky Shumer claims to visit every county in the state at least once a year but I never hear about him visiting an area near me until a day after he has left.

As for the LE officers who will be the first line in implementing the law, word has it that most won't enforce it IF we, the gun owners don't flaunt it. But they will use the law if someone happens to be a jacka$$. That's a start but certainly not the end all. The lawsuits will need to be successfull to remove, nullify or repeal the law.

To those here on LRH who live in NY, go to www.nysrpa.org and www.scopeny.org for info on the law and how it is being contested. If you haven't been to one of the rallys, find the time to do so. I've been to Albany a few weeks ago and few smaller local ones since then. The turnout at the Accord NY FH breakfast last week was much better than expected. I know money is tight and all of us have to support our households but please find the time to do something. I'm coyote hunting this weekend but I'll be in Albany on the 28th.

Thanks to everyone who is helping and will be helping.

FH
