how many do you have?

I have 15 that have taken critters over 500yds and numerous others that I've shot long range but never shot a animal with them. This year I shot a deer at 1006yds and a antelope at 502yds with a 6.5-300wm. I also shot a elk using my .30-8mm but it was only about 200yds.

Shhh don't be talking about the 6.5/300wm as every time I think of them I want to build one... gun)

Model 700 built by Pac Nor in .260

Model 700 Sendero in 7mm mag

Model700 with Shilen bbl, HS Prec. stock in 300WSM

Sako action with Hart bbl in 300 win mag

Do you guys prefer to buy a stock rifle and make modifications to them, or do you prefer to just have them built?

Any more, when decide to start a long range rig, I start from scratch. As a south paw, I don't have much of a choice  Factory options suck, for lack of a better term. I'm now kind of spoiled by custom actions & high end stocks....

I have a few LR rigs:

Custom Savage 110 in 6mm AI
Custom Rem 700 in 6-284 (shot to over 1k many times)
Custom Stiller LoneStar in 6.5WSM (harvested mule deer @ 655yds this yr)
Custom Stiller LoneStar in 7mm SAUM (haven't shot yet)
Custom Rem 700 in Lazzeroni Patriot (killed more game than the rest of my rifles put together)
Custom Rem 700 in 338 RUM (No game yet just lots of LR targets)

I have several others, but these I consider dedicated LR rigs.

I have a couple 7-300wm's too and a pair of 7STW's. That's the benefit of being able to build your own guns. After 20 years of it you tend to of collected a few of them.

All of them= You just aim higher:D
In all fairness though there are 4 set up kinda ready to go and a couple more in parts.
