180 grain Sierra Gameking

Hellow gentleman and ladies, I am new to this site but have read alot of your forums and really enjoy the answers and info you guys give. Has anyone tried the Sierra 180 grain Gameking out of a 308 win with a 1 and 12 twist. I hunt here in North Central WV on a farm where my shots can be anywhere from 50 yards out to 500 yards. I have always liked Sierra bullets, they usually shoot the best out of my rifles. Any help, thanks

you could try them I never owned a 308 with a 1-12 had a 1-10 and 1-11. It might be to heavy. I don't know what sierra recommends but they are good bullets for the 308.

My model 70,12 twist doesn`t like them,too heavy.165 grainers are very good though.
