I would like to see Berger produce a 338 bullet in the 250 gr. class maybe even 225 ,if you could get the BC high enough like .65-7, as an option to the 300gr. What do you suppose the 250 gr would get BC wise somewhere around .7 G1 I would think, right? What else would you like to see berger or other manufacturer produce?

OK these would be nice.

.338 calibre ... 250 and 275 grain Hybrids.
8mm calibre .... 250 grain Hybrid or VLD.
.35 calibre ....... 325 grain Hybrid.
.375 calibre ....... 350 and 375 and 400 grain Hybrids or VLD's.
.408 calibre ........ Anything BIG!:D

High BC (greater than .6) .257 bullets! What size (in grains) .257 bullet would it take to get a BC above .6?

1. 225 to 230 grain .338
Something usable in the standard .338 Win

2. A line of VLD's with a bonded core. Maybe even a dreaded plastic tip.

They have a .338 250 hybrid in the works right now. It was scheduled to be produced a long time ago but the .338 300 gr issue of jacket slump had to be resolved first. The projected BC of the 250 gr bullet back before the term hybrid was ever used was .762 (G1) .390 (G7)

I talked to Berger two days ago. They are working on making a line of hunting hybrids!!!

Well that 250 gr 338 hybrid is exactly what I'm hoping for a 225 gr hybrid with a high .6 would be cool too. I hope they release some info soon about those hunting hybrids I'm having a seven mag built and was getting ready to pick up a 1000 or so 180 hunting vlds. Maybe I'll just get 500 and wait to hear about those hybrids
