Any load data for 6.5x47 140 Accubonds?

Has anybody loaded up any 130-140 grain Accubonds for a 6.5x47 Lapua? I am looking to use this as an all-around hunting round from distance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

We haven't tested with Accubonds yet, but have been running H414 with 130 and 140 grain Berger's with good results. Here is the data:

130 VLD
CCI 450 Small Rifle Mag primer
42.0 H414
Average 2844 FPS, ES 20

140 VLD
CCI 450 Small Rifle Mag primer
40.6 H414
Average 2760 FPS, ES 19

Neither one of these loads show pressure signs, but of course need to be worked up to especially since the Accubond will take up a little bit more space in the case than the VLD does. Happy Shooting!
 
40-41.5 grs of H4350 or Vit. N550 with CCI 450 Primers. Could try N540 at about 38grs.

H4350 as proved to be extremely accurate in every 6.5x47 I have loaded for. N550 has been the best performer but not always the most accurate. Have gotten 2900 with N550 out of a 24" barrel.
 
+1 on the H4350 has been the most accurate so far out of the two I have. I have one with .120 freebore that doesn't like anything over 130gr but the the other one has .160 that will shoot anything that gets put in it.

The Accubond has a bit of bearing surface. More than the Partition which has more than the Berger VLD. More bearing surface = more pressure; or earlier pressure signs. I measure case head expansion and never saw more than .0002" on any of the shots fired.

These were fired from a 26" #3 Broughton, Pierce SA. I believe CCI 450's were used but through testing, I obtained better results with the F205M with Rel 17.

I do not shoot the X47,but it's cuz..6.5 Creedmoor. I have worked up a paper,varmint,Deer, Hog log with Ramshot "HUNTER" using 125 Partitions/ Hornady 123 AMax. I was able to work the load to the same POI without adjustments. I like the way Hunter loads,meters well and it fast to load a couple dozen rounds for the range...
I do like the Accubond and will be working on those as well. I have a lot of respect for Nosler and used their bullets a lot and have taken a lot of game with them,including Africa...
 
I cut and pasted the below 140 Berger VLD data from my EXCEL sheet. I kept going until I finally saw the first hint, besides velocity, of pressure; "slight" difficult bolt lift! I measure just in front of the extractor groove with a .0001" micrometer and consider, personally, anything over .0005" as max. I settled on 42.1 gr, .030" off the lands and F205m primers as the sweet spot @ 2950 fps. Five-six firings and the pockets are still tight. 1/2 MOA 5-shot groups all day long too!

Another hum-dinger load in my little Pierce is the 140 Partition and Rel 17. If I didn't put it down earlier, the rifle is on a Pierce SA, 26" #3 Broughton 5R.

Yes and no.

Yes, I've seen a backwards or upside down deviation where it actually slowed during summer months and sped up in winter months.

No, I did not actually get what i consider accurate data as I consider the best way is to get the same data from loads that were all reloaded the same day. Meaning I should load up about 20 rounds on the same day. Shoot 10 in hot weather and store the other 10 until winter and then shoot them.

I discussed this with a buddy of mine who is a ballistic lab tech who works for ADI, they make most of our Hodgdon powder down in Mulwala, Australia; ADI or Australian Defense Indsustries. He's done testing with Rel 17 and has seen the same thing.
