stainless ultimate wilson from sinclair. they were on sale for 159 a couple of weeks ago, normal price is 180. best trimmer ive ever used and the easiest.
I mounted mine on a 12 x8 piece of granite counter top material, don't even have to clamp it down

Giraud. Trims, deburrs and chamfers all in one pass.... Quick setup, easy to use, fast and accurate....

I have a Redding Micrometer dial trimmer for odd jobs but I made up a holder that fits one of my floor lathes that I trim quantity bottlenecks in.
I just set the turret tailstock with a piloted trimmer, outside chamfer and inside chamfer and go about it.
Flip 'em around and chamfer the primer pockets (.223 once fired LC). I use a Weldon chatterless countersink (29 degree included angle).
Considered a Dillon pocket press but no need here.

Forster trimmer, I have had it for 38 yrs. It trims and outside neck turns and inside neck reams with the available attachments. I just bought another used one to set up for just my .308. It is like a mini lathe.
Why spend all that money on a stainless steel trimmer, you going to trim cases under water???

I considered my wife's granite kitchen counter top (for reloading) but that was nixed quickly.....
Gnergy, funny you should mention the underwater part. In 1996 my house and many of the neighbors houses were also flooded, since my reloading was downstairs and the water was literally waterfalling through the downstairs windows and my Forester trimmer was on the bench that the waterfall was landing on........you get the picture.
just so you know, I had completely forgotten about that until you asked why stainless, mind you that was not why I went with it.
My forester was rusted together and ruined because it was kinda the furthest thing from my mind at the time and i did not get to it in time to dry it out and oil it up.

the Sinclair trimmer is a Wilson with a bunch of stuff added to it. I don't know if the micrometer head was their idea or Wilson's, but the riser was Fred's idea. I know I was using a home built micrometer head two years before Sinclair ever marketed one, and I'm certain I was not the first kid on the block to do this (it's very easy to do). I like Fred's clamp better than mine, but have since seen one that's a light year better (maybe Square Peg). That one uses a Destaco lever clamp to hold every thing in place (why didn't I think of that when I had cabnets full of them)

I rely on my Foster for outside neck tuning. Very accurate. Still want to buy extra neck turning head so that I do not need to change the adjustments with every calibre. For normal trimming cases I use the Lee case trimmer in an electrical drill with variable speed - it work easily and also accurate. After trimming I debur and polish the inside of the neck with an old brush with steal wool on it. Also got an RCBS case trimmer - also good quality. Still thinking what to do with it.
