Does anyone own a 264Win Mag in Rem 700 Sendero SFII ? If so how do you like it? My dad really loves that caliber. He owns 2 Pre 64 Model 70 Winchesters in 264Win Mag and thought that the Sendero would be a cool gift. I'd like to get some feed back first from someone who has one? Thanks in advance for your help.

Not in that caliber but I've owned a total of 4 and currently own two and they are great rifles.

I own one I bought a year ago. The firing pin hole is oversize. .093 and the primer bleeds back into the hole when you fire the gun. The throat is too short for a 142grain SMK bullet. My hunting partner also has one and has the same problems. His went back and they lengthened the throat for him but he didn't catch the firing pin hole problem until it was too late. He thought the short throat was causing the problem with over pressure as it would not except a factory round.
Now all that said both rifles are going back to Remington to have the problems fixed now that deer season is over. My hunting partner shot two deer at 250 and his gun performed flawlessly. I shot one at around 840 give or take and one at 550 give or take and was very happy with the accuracy of the guns. The problems with both rifles is easily remedied.

Wow! Did Remington give you any trouble sending the guns back and do the repair the problem at their expense? Thanks for the information. Of all the guns that my dad has 264win mag is his favorite. I know not too many people have them but mostly everyone who does like it. So I wanted a little feed back from you all.

I got two of the first Senderos I picked up brand new and cheap several years back in Houston. One 300 Win Mag and one 22-250Rem. I know they don't make the 22-250 with the Sendero stalk anymore but I got one :D

I've been impressed with both! My 22-250 has shot 3 shots inside a dime at 200 yards. I love em both.
