Remington 700 SPS 270WSM

Hello everyone. I've been looking for an accurate 270WSM for hunting and target shooting for a while now. I settled on buying a Savage Weather Warrior when the funds became avalible. Today while visiting a gun shop I found a Remington SPS in 270WSM that had only been slightly used. The store owner said he'd take 500.00 for it. Is this a pretty good deal, or should I wait on the Savage?

I have a 700 sps ss in 7mag and I love it. Good shooter, doesnt break the bank. 500 seems high to me though unless its stainless. Most places around here that sell them are under that brand new

I think that price is fairly high. I just bought a Rem 700 SPS DM in .243 for $519 CAD brand new. guns in the States are alot cheaper usually. If its SS then it isnt a bad price but for CM its a little high.

I have a 270wsm in the savage weather warrior. I put a vortex viper 6.5-20 50mm scope on it. I loaded up some 140gr bergers with some h4350 and I'm shooting 1/4 groups at 200 yards. With some practice I'm able to shoot accurately out to 960 yards. I haven't tried anything further. I've got a cosine indicator and a bubble level on it. That's it. The gun is completely stock. After all that I guess you know what my answer is

Sounds like the setup I want to go with. Only I'll be using 140grain Nosler Accubonds. I like it.
