Vortex Viper Tacticals: Are the made in Japan

Hi Guys

I wonder can anybody tell me if the Vortex Viper Tactical scopes are made in Japan or China...or else where??

The scopes do seem to tick a lot of boxes...Metric adjustments, Miliradian Recticule, Iluminated Recticule, Side Parallex.

Thinking of adding one to my wish list. If they are made in Japan as opposed to China, another box would be ticked.

i know the pst is made in japan

As far as I know none of the vortex products are chinese. Philippines is their main assembly point. I believe the lens are from Japan as well as some of the other components.

Neither, They are assembled in the Philippines with parts from Japan.

I think the scopes could be very good if manufactured in the Phillipines with major components made in Japan. The scopes are getting great reviews and seem to be the most exciting thing at the "affordable / entry" level of tactical style scopes.

The Japs bombed Pearl Harbor before we got our B-17 bomber force of over 200 planes together in the Philippines to bomb them under cover of the Chinese flag. An American pilot involved in this operation has stated this on Japanese TV, and it is on Youtube.

The Japs bombed with Japanese insignia on their airplanes. They had ambassadors in Washington to announce they were at war just before the attack, but they couldn't tell time changes very well and announced it a bit late. We had no intention of announcing anything and flying with Chinese markings on the airplanes. We did it as the Flying Tigers earlier with fighter planes.

Some people need to learn all the facts about Pearl Harbor, like the fact FDR knew an attack was imminent and knew it could be used to drag the USA into war sooner. He ordered the US Navy to sink any German sub they found in the Atlantic ocean in international waters 6 months before Congress declared war on Germany. Thus, he circumvented the US Constitution.

All this is easy to know if you read some revisionist history. Winston Churchill said to Joseph Stalin, "History shall be kind to me, for I shall write it."

What was said above--being made/assembled in the Philippines is correct for the PST's. The 5-20 and 1-4 Razors are made in Japan.
