Restocking my VSSF 220 swift

Dropped of my rifle at the smith for a laminate thumbhole from Boyd's to be installed with glass bedding. Question though, should I have the lugs and bolt face lapped if I am not replacing the barrel?

why? or "why not" ?

I wouldnt spend the money to remove a factory bbl/true action, re cut thds., lap lugs, true folt face, etc., and then re install the factory bbl. But, if you want to, go ahead and have it done.
