I received some information that i was curious about and new of no better place then here to find out if it is true or not. so if you have any insight please comment.
I heard that a company or group called the Freedom Group owns several gun companies like bushmaster, marlin, Remington, DPMS, Dakota Arms and H&R. Why would anyone group of people own so many companies?? Well i heard that a company called Cerberus Capital Managemant ownes and runs the fake company called Freedom Group. They came up with that name so their would be less suspicious questions. but when you look at who controls Capital Management?? anyone know? I was told it was George Soros. Does this ring a bell to anyone.
He gave millions to Obama and also when he purchases a few more gun companies he can decide who he sells to and who he does not. or just stop making guns for the public all together.. just a thought. and i am not stating that this is all true. but i do know that some of you are very knowledgeable in this field so you can set the record straight.

Thanks

Sends warning signs doesn't it! But NO, it isn't true, I got the same Crying Wolf email several months ago about that. Then, being an NRA member, I received my usual NRA/ILA newsletter stating that the George Soros claim is totally bogus & there is no connection between the two what-so-ever.

...<insert sigh of relief>...

I knew that it would only take a few minutes on this site to set the record straight thanks for the reply. And yes what a relief!!!!

I buy my rifles from a more freedom minded group than what owns some American companies. Bill Ruger says no man needs more than a 10-round magazine. Winchester is owned by the FN Euro Belgians. Ditto for Browning. Most of what FN makes they will not sell to civilians. Remington quality is slipping lately, per longtime Remington fans I meet.

CZ, of the Czech Republic. Good enough for Russian Special Forces.....and they have no problems selling to American civilians. None of that "sales to military and police only" crap that I see over at Sako website (owned by Beretta).

Yep, Scheels has a nice M40 looking sniper rifle made by CZ on the new gun rack....and CZ prices them right and gives you an adjustable hair trigger and tough scope rings in the deal.

And if you weren't supposed to have it, some dude named Ivan or Sergei is selling it out of the trunk of his Lada station wagon somewhere, if you ask around a bit.......

My CZ 75 is the AK-47 of pistols, the most produced and widest distributed M&P pistol in the world....and it does nothing but rock hard and never a problem in 18 years of service. CZ.....it's owned by those who make excellent firearms at affordable prices.....all I need to know. No CZ centerfire rifle I ever owned printed less than 1/2" groups at 100 yards and I have yet to have a single problem after 18 years of CZ ownership.....5 firearms in total. You hear the same story from a lot of CZ owners.

Before I ask who owns a firearms company, I ask whether or not I'm gonna get taken if I buy from them.

I don't think the post was about quality.... It was about the libs doing an end around the law and just buying up the resources to stop selling/distributing small arms to the vast majority of americans. If they can get most of the building in the US stopped and then just have the UN pass something to stop the import of all the others..... we are sunk. Sorry if I stepped on the originator.
