BEGER 190 VLD load data 300WM

New Norma brass
powders on hand RL25, RL22, H4831SC, Retumbo, 8700, HUS869

Going to give the 190 VLD a try but need some where to start and what powder info. Will be loading them long single shot length.

Cant help with the 190's, but I load for a few 300 win senderos with 210 Bergers. They will fit in the factory mag box and I get great accuracy with H-1000.

What COL and how for off the lands are you loading?

I shoot the 190's for my main hunting load from 300wm....but I'm away from home and don't have my exact load info with me. I'll give you what I can pull from memory.

I'm shooting a Remington SPS and it would not shoot as well at max loads, so I had to back it off a bit. I'm shooting over 77-78gr of H4831 and getting 2820fps. Max load was closer to 3000 but groups opened up.

I also tried H1000....better velocities in general but again groups were not quite as good as with H4831.

2.868" to the O-give 3.552" Over all length. This is .005" off the lands in an early Sendero with the black non-fluted barrel

bout where I was going to start didnt realize they could get that close to the lands and still fit in the mag box
