Please post things that are like this that have happened to you!!!!

(A) 5 years ago I needed new Flashlights for ELK hunts in CO. We walked in 3 to 5 miles in the dark or camped a few days once in. Researched and found a SureFire G2 LED 80 Lumens -12 hours to burnout. ****, what light. I could see a Mt Lion attack or a Bear attack in time to hit the ground and try plan 'A'. I ordered 1. Next year I ordered 2 more and 3 boxes of 10 yr life SF123As, it used 2 of them. Lost one last year??? Found that SureFire discontinued this line! Not to Despairlightbulb......Amazon had some!!!!! Ordered 2 more July 2011 "Surefire G2-LED G2 80 Lumens Runtime 12Hours......Life is GOOD! N O T!!!!!!
When they came they were not what the shipping order showed....they were **** 120Lumens and RUNTIME OF 2 Hours! It gets worse! The 120/2hr were being discontinued too, so kept the 2 120Lumen mods also. ****, Can't Have Nothing...! Guess it was TOO GOOD so Surefire got scared of it!
These 80 Lumen puppies were so bright you could BLIND a squad of home invaders or Wall Street Occupiers till you could get to your equalizer!!! O Well!!

Have a nice day.:)

Lapua 300 Win Mag Brass.

I have a decent stash bt not going to last forever. Just don't get it. A caliber that is one of the best ever created and they stopped making the brass for it.

RWS is an aweful good second choice. It is super strong but looses in the case capacity department and I find in many cases the Lapua allow a few more grains of chargedue to this added volume.

Oh well.

I hear ya. . .

Ordered a 270 Allen Mag and ordered only 100 Wildcat 169.5s from Richard Graves.

Ordered a 375 Allen Mag and only ordered 100 pieces of brass.
Oh, and have only 200, 350 SMKs

Then there's that deal on my wife. I was hoping for a two-fer. Was bummed when I learned she didn't have an identical twin sister. But hey she's holding up pretty well after 43 seasons.:)

I have seen your wife and you're right, she is holding up well....which brings up a question, how did YOU land HER? She doesn't seem to be deaf and blind.:D Jis joshin ya Roy!

I had a Wisperlight stove from MSR for 15+ years. It was great unless it plugged up with soot and left me without any heat or a way to cook. After it pooped out on me on a solo backpack hunt on the Idaho/Wyoming border I looked for another stove. A friend recomended a JetBoil so I bought one. Best stinkin' stove I've ever used! So I bought two cases of fuel canisters for that bugger just in case.
