So far for me 300 yards with a Remington Model 7 .243 with no problem and had an awesome time. And having steel plates makes it 10 times better! Soon i will be at 500 and then someday 1,000! My range has a 500 yarder so i will going and doing that. So whats the longest you shot at the range or hunting.

Farthest I've shot is 750 yds., I now have a place to shoot 1018 tho :D. Groups @ 750 yds. were under 3" for my .308 win, and under 2.5" for my 22-250 rem. THERE WAS NO WIND!!!:D lol. That's not gonna happen again.

our local range only goes to 300. i think i have found another private ranke that goes out to 1500 though. I cant wait till i can go out there and try something longer than 300

My local range holds several 1,000 yard matches annually. I run teh 600 yard F-Class match. The near by desert is good to go for well beyond the 1,800+ yards that I use it for lately.

longest connected shot 900yd. longest shot with consistency is 800yd. not sure why but 900 is a struggle for me.

I think the longest I have shot was with my .338 Lapua and 300 Bergers was to 2300 yds. at a rock. On game , a whtetail doe at 1137 yards for a 1 shot kill.

In South Dakota we have confirmed kills at 1760 and 2218 and have pounded the hell out of the mounds at 3200-3500 just have never killed anything. It's hard to hit a pd at that distance when it takes 9 sec. for the bullet to get there, you have to shoot where you think they will be. Around home here in Pa we have a couple of 1k ranges close and we shoot alot of groundhog matches out to 500.

1000yd range in manatee county here in florida. Shot it a couple times with some select rifles done pretty well .
