Barrel is fluted and chambered in .300 win mag. Barrel has about 2k rounds of mostly factory (Hornady custom and superformance ammo). Best group came in at 1/3 MOA at 171 yards with superformance ammo. Throat has very little erosion. However I didn't use a bore guide and I think there is some issue with scratching down the bore. Barrel still exhibits excellent accuracy but fouls after about thirty shots. some wipeout followed by KG Bore polish and five shots from a cold bore group within an inch at 100 yards.
Will have picture later this week when rifle come back from the smith. Had a krieger #10 28" with muzzle break installed. Was almost cheaper to buy a new tub than have a break installed plus I wanted something a bit longer.
I think a good hand lap and chamber re cut will yield another 2-3 K of useable accuracy life for a hunting rig.
Asking 130 bucks shipped CONUS. I'll ask the smith to look down the bore and tell me what he thinks and if possible provide picture of the throat and bore before tube ships.
Barrel was fluted and installed by krieger, it is currently duracoated in sniper green. If you want I can re-duracoat it in oxide black before I ship it.
Would prefer paypal or postal money order as payment but a trade is welcome. I am currently building a .308 on a savage action so an savage aftermarket savage stuff, .308 dies/brass/match or vld bullets etc.
Also interested and Remington 870 stuff like a "tactical" barrel/choke.
going to have some other stuff for sale later got a lot of stuff collecting dust in the man cave.
