I have been looking for a 308 for hunting deer out to 600 yards I like the laminate stocks on the two guns listed above. I have a few CZ rifles already and they shoot 1/2" moa. Have not shot any of their larger center fire rifles. One question on the CZ guns is how easy is it to replace a barrel? Also is there a different CZ model one would recommend or should I stay with the proven savage design?

My experience with CZ's is that you can't possibly get more for your money going with another make.

Any gunsmith can replace a worn out CZ barrel with no more problem than any remington or winchester or any of the Mauser based actions.

If it's an option on the one you are looking at get the single set trigger. It's a dream.
